Wall Displays

A Year 1/2 Classroom

A Year 5/6 Classroom

Consider what's important in a wall display - is it a beautifully, careful presentation of children's work - possibly?

OR

A way of recognising and sharing children's achievements.

  • Of course make the display interesting and enticing for children to look at and read, but don't lose sight of it's importance - simply displaying work is in itself valuable.
  • Children respond well when work is valued, and builds self-esteem.

  • I aim to create one display per half-term.

  • Consider other ways of valueing children's work more regularly too. Blue tac on whiteboard, layout on tables etc.
