Teams vs. Individuals?

- Decide
how children might be rewarded - as
individuals or as teams. This might already
be decided for you if the school has a strong
team ethos.
- Make
it clear how children will be rewarded
- good behaviour, working hard.... children
need to know this. Definitely use it
for behaviour management.
- Make
it something that the children
maintain. e.g. colour in, initial,
stick on sticker etc.
- Be
consistent - children know when you
aren't and you will never hear the end of
it!
- Best
not to take points away - keep it
positive.
