Science partnership between Bohunt School and Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones have developed a successful partnership with Bohunt School in Hampshire.

Over this past term, we have been using the facilities at the school to conduct the practical science work. We have been made to feel very welcome and the pupils have not only enjoyed the experience but have benefited enormously.

In a recent experiment, we produced a timelapse video showing the growth of Copper Sulphate crystals.

Here is the video below:

Pupils talk about their work at the Be Very Afraid II event in December 2005

This film is one of several produced by Illumina for Heppell.net following the successful Be Very Afraid II event held on 14th December 2005.

A film crew captured the extraordinary creativity that was on display throughout the day. A DVD and website has been produced containing photographs and the entire set of clips from all the schools and pupils - this will be available to all those who participated very soon. The video below is very much an early preview of what you will find on the DVD.

Listen to what our pupils said about the work they were showcasing.

Jonathan was asked to describe Stepping Stones and what the pupils were doing...
