Hello Vicki, thank you for your comment, glad you found the calendar. We hope you enjoy visiting it over the next few weeks.

Of course you have to be more patient than most... being 12hrs ahead means you might not see the next day until... midday NZ time!

I like the advent calender, what a good idea

Submitted by visitor on Sun, 2006-12-03 23:27.

Hi, I am in New Zealand at the moment, checking out your advent calendar - looks great. When I click on the 4th, I get the message "really, no peeking! Come back tomorrow and see what's here.", but in NZ we are 13 hours ahead of you, so it is the 4th already!:^)

Submitted by Jonathan Furness on Sun, 2006-12-03 23:44.

Yeah... see the above comment to Vicki... suggestions ? Should we build one for each timezone ? ;-)

Surely needs some clever sort of PHP query to check your local time zone and allow you to click or not click, if you see what I mean.

Thanks for dropping by though, Stephen.

Merry Christmas to you all! I love your advent calendar and I wish you have a wonderful break starting next week.
Do you think it will snow? Your snowman looks lonely but happy in the cold on your picture. This reminds me that one of my favourite Christmas programmes on the tv is "The Snowman" by Raymond Briggs.
All the best to you all : ).

Wow... how brave are you, Jessica?

I thought you sang fantastically well.... and you should feel very proud of your efforts. Am I right in thinking that this is the more funky and upbeat version of Away in a Manger? ... very cool!

Thank you ever so much for your contributions to the Advent Calendar. You've made so many people happy this Christmas and the day hasn't yet arrived!

Submitted by visitor on Thu, 2006-12-21 04:26.

Your work here is excellent. I enjoyed all of it and even tried to see some dates which are not allowed yet: I must wait!. That is very clever of you to stop me opening a day ahead of time.

My daughter, Roisin, has hemiplegia and we have had a great time at the Hemi fun day.

Submitted by visitor on Thu, 2006-12-21 22:39.

What a super idea to produce an Advent Calendar, I particularly liked your little orchestra! I would like to help the children in my class make something similar but I'm not sure I would know how to!!I shall visit your site again to see what other great ideas you have had. Hope you all had a good Christmas. Good luck for the spring term.

I thought the calender was a really good idea. I enjoyed looking at it. My favourites were the pantomime, the clay writing, Jess singing and Jessica's face in the snowman. My favourite FAVOURITE is probably the pantomime

Submitted by visitor on Fri, 2006-12-29 17:15.

You all worked so hard and had such brilliant, individual ideas for this calendar that it's really hard to pick a favourite ... so my fave is the end of term concert, which involved you all - and I missed it!! You are all brave, funny, clever and oozing with confidence. Every one of you a superstar. Hope Santa was kind to you and that you have a wonderful year ahead at Stepping Stones!

Submitted by Jonathan Furness on Fri, 2006-12-29 17:42.

Hello Florence,

Great to see you here on this site AND for your comment which I think is wonderful. Like you and many other people, it's really hard to pick a favourite, but I like the vocabulary that you have used... "favourite FAVOURITE"

:-)

I suppose picking the one that's given you the most enjoyment is the easiest way, rather than the best.

Best wishes in 2007,

Jonathan
