Stepping Stones pupils showcase their digital creativity at BAFTA

Pupils from Stepping Stones school were invited along to the Be Very Afraid II event at BAFTA in Piccadilly, London. They, along with several other schools and organisations showcased their digital creativity work in front of a mixed audience of professionals, including representatives from the DfES and BBC.

Amy, Dominic and Dan were enthusiastic to explain to other teachers and peers what they have been creating at Stepping Stones. Another key moment was observing our children learning about creating Flash animations, from a Notschool researcher.

Jonathan Furness commented:

"Nevermind the tremendous opportunity for pupils to share what they already know, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn from each other."

A television film crew was also in attendance and they spent the day interviewing pupils and teachers asking them to explain how ICT has transformed some of their ambitions into reality.
