Egg-tastic - a problem solving activity at the Stepping Stones Cinema Club

Cinema Club go-ers had great fun this evening with egg-tastic...

The youngsters were challenged with the task of dropping one of Jonathan's 'past sell-by-date eggs' from the balcony of the new mezzanine floor. The rules were simple, use whatever means possible to protect the egg from breaking when dropped from a fixed height.

A range of materials around the school was made available for this activity. Here are some photographs from the evening.

Each team gave considerable thought to the design of their egg container since all were successful in preventing the egg from breaking after the 3.5m drop.
