I love reading ...when I get the opportunity. I love Scuba diving but find UK much too cold !!!!
I have recently got into power walking due to the 'moonwalk' (26 miles) which Rick and I will be doing to raise money towards breast cancer research.

Her other roles are supporting the progressive music department which is driven by our well qualified head of department, and also assists the leader of the art department in a range of different artistic activities designed to stretch and challenge all of the students.

Her background is incredibly varied, she started her professional life as a police woman, then moved on to academic study with the Open University for five years, completed a foundation in nursing and most recently an ongoing desire to be part of a bespoke educational environment at Stepping Stones School.

Outside of school she leads a full and active life as a mother to three children (and a small West Highland Terrier - Poppy), and enjoys a number of different activities ranging from sport, the theatre, travel and adventure. She always looks for new challenges and ways to broaden her education, and feels that her current employment at Stepping Stones is an ideal opportunity to do both.
