I bet you're all very happy and proud of yourselves! :-) As some of you may know I'm also currently doing my DofE Gold award (I've already completed 4 sections of the award) ... so my final section is the expeditions! :-) I've just completed my practice hiking expedition (7-10th June) in Leicestershire! :-) Which I can say I passed, I walked a total of 22.4 km (14 miles approx) in the 4 days! :-) I must omit sometimes it was tough but I can say that my team members were great in encouragement! :-) And the award is all to do with working together in a team! And completing the challenge together! :-)Keep it up! Fab photo's I must say! :-) Fingers crossed for me, that I should complete my final hiking expedition in August maybe in the Yorkshire Dales!:-) Then I'm off to the palace! :-) Good luck with it all ... even though you won't need it ... as you'll do absolutely great in the award! Take care ... all the best ... Katy :-) x</p> Wed, 27 Jun 2007 19:16:45 +0000 visitor comment 594 at /steppingstones/www
